The breakfast boards are great here, we’ve been a few times. They have a good menu selection from full breakfasts to Benedict/Pancakes/Toast..etc. the drinks are great too, we tried coffees, hot chocolates and mimosas. The queue can be a little much at peak times but staff are attentive and helpful! We did also go for afternoon tea but that was hit and miss (average mini sandwiches cakes and nibbles). I would recommend breakfasts but not afternoon tea.

Myself, my mum and grandma went today for afternoon tea. We have been lots of times before and had no complaints, but having not been for a while we checked out the reviews. Due to some negative reviews we weren't sure what to expect. The experience we had taught us to remember that for every negative review there will be hundreds of happy customers not bothering to leave one. The service was fantastic, the staff were polite and helpful, the afternoom tea was well priced and tasted lovely. We had a top up of tea and two of us took scones home in boxes which wasn't any issue at all. We all felt it was important to leave a positive review as we had such a lovely afternoon.

Piano is the only positive to this place. Ordered little bites- 3 for £15. It took 45 minutes to come, despite there only being around 5 other tables seated. Be warned, you need 3 per person. 3 tiny bland, unseasoned chicken skewers advertised as “bbq chicken” but there is no flavour to anything but the sweet chilli dip they come with. Brisket fries were just freezer chips, with (again) unseasoned beef thrown on top. No flavour to anything at all. The cheese bites would have redeemed it but you only get 2 and again they are tiny. Ordered cake to try and redeem our experience, but the cheesecake is obviously mass produced supermarket rubbish, completely horrible consistency at £6 a slice! the vanilla slice was actually a cream slice, again overpriced for 1 small pudding. This used to be a lovely little place to go for a coffee and a nibble, but the standards have dropped terribly, and I can no longer justify the extortionate prices. Won’t be returning.
