I've had village pizza for over 20 yrs. Over the past coming months can see the deterioration in the food, kebabs especially. Ordered a kebab tonight, and can honestly say it was diabolical. The meat is sliced that thin there is no taste to it. Fries are that overcooked it's like eating cardboard. Maybe it's time to say goodbye to village once and for all. Can honestly say you won't be missed.
Friendly guys serving at front of house. The food is standard pizza/kebab fayre but it’s done really well. Pizzas made with fresh dough and kebabs made with quality donner meat. Cannot fault!
Had chicken and lamb tikka on garlic naan and some samosas. Have had food from here before and have enjoyed it. However today it was substandard. Tasteless naan, burned dry meat, not very fresh salad and samosas which looked like they'd been dropped and jumped on. All the food was cold! Will not be back!
If you want the Brad Pits for a week, then go to village wxnkers. Staff have attitude problems, especially the big over-grown one who looks like something off planet of the apes …. Horrible food, horrible service and they know fxck all about pizzas, only that the word Pizza starts with the letter P … I think you have to pass a thick test to work there or basically have been kicked off Job seekers allowance … avoid like Covid 19 … Covid 20 and Covid 21. Oh, and they always say “30-45 minutes for delivery” and then turn up 4 hours later. So the last time they said that to me, I’d called them from San Antonio, Ibiza and said “okay, see you then”.
Food is always fresh and hot. Staff have always got our order right. No complaints from us.
