I have visited this place once before and really enjoyed the pizza, so I wanted to get it again. However this time the base and crust was very odd. Completely flat and crunchy with the same texture as a cracker, no moisture at all. The toppings were amazing as usual, I got the heat wave pizza, but the base really let it down. Either the pizza dough wasn’t left to rise correctly, or the recipe wasn’t followed properly this time. Very disappointed I wasted a treat day, after a week of healthy eating on this pizza.
Ordered a toiled special kebab .. best one I’ve had in a while… not shy on the meat! Nuggets and chips were great too . Came really quick
Blamed me over a txt that I wasn’t in, saw the driver speed up the road and gone. Never knocked on the door, I have 2 dogs and not one barked, so you definitely didn’t. Use a different app and postcode. Take a leaf out of stalybridge and sort your customer service out.
Customer service was very good, 5/5 for the lad who served me. The UFO pizza on the other hand, lacked any significant flavour. Could have done with more pizza sauce, more herbs and spices...
We have been to Tokies on many occasions, because the food is always fresh, hot and very tasty. We have used the website to order for delivery as well as collection in person and have been into the shop and ordered. Every time our food has been cooked to order, hot and delicious, and I have to say also that the staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful when I've had to ask questions about ingredients. All the above mentioned are the reasons we use Tokies frequently.
