Ordered a special prawn and avocado salad . Β£7.95. If what I received was a βspecialβ salad, then what a basic salad is I dread to think! It was literally lettuce, thick wedges of cucumber, tomatoes, avocado and prawns! The lady in the next table had cheese on toast! It looked so bad I took a photo!
I visited with my mum, and we only had coffee today. It wasn't too busy, but tables and the floor were dirty. One staff member was having something to eat at the side of us. They got up to help colleagues and never washed their hands after eating their own food with their hands! I watched them pick clean forks up by the pronged end to take to other dining customers. The table they left still had dirty pots on and a mobile phone. I could see other people looking confused as to whether you now had to go to the counter to order after having been sat waiting a while. It just seemed very unorganised. I did have breakfast there last weekend, and the food was ok.
What a pleasant afternoon catching up with a good friend. The staff were delightful (Lucy served us), the food was good and atmosphere quiet and relaxed. Good job everyone.
A lovely ambiant Cafe. Super staff and absolutely delicious food! I enjoyed the Vegan curry so much we will be regular visitors. All good home made by Anna! Highly recommend
