Placed a £92 order next day delivery waited in all day 12.30pm-14.30pm my account says it's been delivered but it's not been delivered to my home can't get hold of the store as phone lines keep saying line buy. Update now it's saying there was a error and that my order is now on its way to be delivered between 9-10pm what good is paying for a certain time slot if it's not going to be delivered on time Iceland should offer a refund on the delivery atleast for this error and for making me waste my day calling constantly over a 6 hour period in one day trying to get hold of someone who can help when all lines busy
I would normaly rate higher. However when i went today i was disgusted with the lady on the till as she was texting on her phone even though i had put shopping on the belt and tgen i had to wait while she finished reading her text before she activated the sale i have never seen any of the staff do this before i hope its not going to become the norm.
Iceland delivery drivers need to go on a customer service course. I live in a ground floor flat, opened my door to find my shopping in bags but no delivery driver to be seen. As I start putting my shopping in my hallway he turned up on the phone to god knows who. Then He said that's you're delivery. NO WAY SHERLOCK.
It's a fairly sizeable supermarket yet it doesn't really seem to compete price-wise with the big four. It's not more expensive, it just isn't really any less either. It just... is.
Hi I visited the Oldham Iceland store on 7/6/23 I arrived at the store at 2045 and was refused entry in to the store. The security guard asked the supervisor and said they wouldn't allow me in and that they had closed. After I mentioned both the website and store signs shows that they close at 2100 I was told nothing he could do as he's been told not to let me in. I've worked in retail for number of years and I can understand if I turned up at 2100 and they say they you are closed but with 15 minute remaining this is absolutely shocking. The staff then leave at 2059 as I waiting outside searching for other stores this is something I've never known to happen in any retail store. The checkout assistant the has the nerve to wave at me when I'm driving away. Iceland should change the times on all sites and also may get some l&d training done on customer serve skills.
