Just had fish and chips and peas from here tonight. It was awful! Chips were cold and soggy, peas were tinned, and the fish - no idea what kind it was! But it wasn’t good! Also was hardly any inside the very soggy batter, which was all undercooked inside. £12.60 and threw it away! Even my cat wouldn’t eat the fish!
Work down here every week and driven by so many times until now definitely won't be happening again my new go to place sadly not near my home in Edinburgh as this would be great tasty food portions superb throughly recommended to anyone had special chow mein and salt and pepper ribs absolutely 💯 %satisfied
Missing items on the order. Fully paid for. When dishing up the order at home, we realised that we were missing stuff. Went back and was told it must’ve fallen out in the car (nope). They wouldn’t replace anything and said I should check the order before I leave the shop. She read the list to me and handed me the bag. If you do go, unwrap it all and check it in front of them. Ripped off!
Been coming here for 20 years and never had an issue and i consider their chips the vest in North-West. Always clean oil and always freshly cooked.
The salt and pepper chips are ok they did have a spicy taste in the past but they must have a new chef or recipe has changed they don't taste same but they are still nice.
