Love this little place. The menus get better and better and the veggie options are so delicious. Staff are always so lovely too especially letting us bring the dog inside and they even brought us a water bowl. Very kind and lovely food and drinks 😊
What a lovely addition to Uppermill! We came for some brunch and were delighted to see the place full and a waiting list to get in. Amazing to show local people supporting local businesses. We ordered the fried chicken kofta and a hot sandwich along with the truffle fries. We were very impressed with the food and the quality of service. It has only been open a month and still a couple of things to improve but over all very happy and wish you all the success!
We’ve visited the original Grandpa Greene’s and thought we’d give this one a go. Its a wonderful place to sit for breakfast. The staff were wonderful, really friendly and helpful The food was great, and are going to expand their coffee alternate milks as well
Had a gorgeous lunch with a friend and his dog. Was welcomed by really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The food was incredible too, well worth a visit.
First visit to this new bistro in Uppermill park . Greeted by a dismissive miss who asked had we booked ? I said do we need too ? Several empty tables free she directed us to a side table I asked could we not have the one by the window no it’s booked … zero customer service and extremely condescending young lady.. not a good first impression. As we sat we asked a very friendly young man called JAKE could we move absolutely was the reply if you give me a min I’ll get you a booth ! What one of the ones that little miss had sneered not available?? Yes within seconds Jake had got us a great table . He took our order extremely pleasant friendly young man who never stopped the whole time we sat eating and little miss nowhere to be seen ! As for the food Davide can cook ! His garlic prawns fresh and the butter garlic sauce amazing . Ceasar salad awesome as was the Malbec red. Jake continued to sing along to the soundtrack as he worked what an asset you have in this young man … just hope you don’t get the little miss with attitude “ that’s amazing “ reply to everything ! In short a dismissive start but quickly recovered by JAKE and DAVIDE Who’s food and service are spot on will be back 👍🏽
