First trip to Oldham town centre for almost 50 years! Oldham road once had pubs on almost every corner as you headed there from Manchester City Centre, many from the long gone Oldham brewery. Madge fancied a trip on the Metro and we spotted this pub in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Well worth the trip for just this corner pub. A bank of ten real ales. Great vibe plus a front pavement seating area. Madge found a new Oldham brewery..We are Wolf. Bar snacks incl sausage rolls. Great visit.
Straight fives for a cracking pub. The food was four sausage rolls, including pork and leek and spicy (and they were). There is also a good selection of nuts and snacks. Four of us had two pints each so tried most of the craft beers and a pint of cider and all were tiptop. The pub was very busy, which confirms its popularity, but the service was excellent coping with the high demand. All in all a brilliant session. Cheers to the Fox and Pine.
First visit today to catch up with friends so we met half way. Quirky lovey ambience. Great service can't fault the place totally chilled. We are planning our next visit and taking our dogs. Thanks for the friendly lovely bar staff.
Amazing little pub hidden away but close to town centre and tram. Brilliant choice of beers including 10 cask ales at 3.50 a pint. Looks a bit like your aunty's front room when you go in but it's on two levels so more seating upstairs. Does food but we didn't eat. Worth coming all the way from South Manchester.
Amazing place! Great beers Great prices Great customer service and clean nice toilets! Highly recommend!
