Good selection of outdoor plants. Good selection of gardening goods, gifts, clothing and books. Great cafe with nice cakes. It was eleven months ago that I wrote the above paragraph, so it’s true to say I don’t visit garden centres very often as I don’t have a garden. Returned today for the all day breakfast, and it was just as good as I remembered. Egg, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, hash brown and toast, all perfectly cooked and piping hot when served. An alternative sweet-tooth choice is a cake and hot drink only £4 when bought together.

Outdoor plants are their speciality with one of the largest, most varied selection of plants available in the Manchester area. Here stock plants suitable to grow and thrive in our region, from long lasting trees, conifers and climbers and larger statement plants for the larger garden to alpines, herbaceous, seasonal bedding and herbs for the smaller garden.their range will satisfy any size garden or budget. Pots and containers are available in a number of materials – plastic, terracotta, ceramic, stone, metal offering contemporary & traditional styles. Figures, statues, bird baths, sundials & water features – range of decorative items for the garden is huge. Decorative stones & gravels are a vital part of most gardens and can often be used to dramatic effect. Fantastic area to visit.

I bought 2 duel pink/white ‘twin sister’ coloured heathers for in the winter. First the flowers on 1 heather went brown, then the other followed. The plants weren’t dead. I mentioned this to the man at Daisy Nook and he said they’d had to throw there’s out because they’d gone the same way. When I asked if I could return mine I was told ‘no’. I’d always supported this nursery, but why bother? They no longer guarantee any plants, even for a month. Very disappointed customer. Photos available if needed.

Very poor choice, sandwiches cake soup which is minute portion, says gluten free but not the bread. Not even a baked potato. Very dissatisfied and disappointed, doesn't give the garden centre which is reasonable priced. Probably better going to cafe at the country park cafe just up the road. Need to get their act together
