I've not been here since it was Escabar (not sure how it's spelt) I fancied a change to my usual place to drink. Ended up here and was searched at the door (red flag for me) and questioned about my pants (smart pants) I was eventually let when we realised we are in Oldham and not Manchester. But felt uneasy about being in the place and felt pretty much unsafe and was wondering whether I should have armour on or not π. The time spent did get abit better...but only by abit I duno if I will rush back just yet. Maybe on quiet nights and not busy nights.
Good little boozer, nice friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the products they serve. The managers on shift are always quick to help and welcome you. Can't go wrong it's a mint atmosphere
After my recent visit I'd say the place looks supprisingly clean and looked after to say the decor looks a little dated and hasn't been updated in years, with little spent on the place to make it look nice despite the lovely staff doing their best to keep the place looking nice and busy. After my recent visit there, the staff were exceptional and quickly busted down huge queues at the bar. Drinks orders were spot-on and served in clean glasses which is great considering the other bars around Oldham and always served with a smile. Their dj was on top form and knew exactly what to play to the crowd creating a good vybe in the place.
What can I say.. management and all staff go above and beyond to cater for customers needs. The place has a cheerful atmosphere drinks are cheap and cocktails are lovely. I've attended this establishment a few times and have never been able to fault.
Bees knees is always my go to pub/club and have made so many good memories with in it,the bar staff work so hard to ensure all customers are served to the best of their abilities especially at the busy times the night live atmosphere is amazing at the weekends playing all the best songs the beer prizes are cheap and the cocktails are amazing! Not forgetting the management the lady at all cost works super hard hours on hours with never not enough time for herself and family to maintain the bar club that all us customers are safe and happy helps in anyways as much as she can adding she has done alot for the community and has helped out with go funds me to help towards funeral costs that she even shaved her hair off just shows how lovely and very respected she is and lights up the room with her smile the only best pub club in oldham Town overall
